Lauren brings technical expertise, sustainability leadership, and a collaborative spirit to Green Hat Consulting. As one of the first architects to complete the government-sponsored Level 7 Degree Apprenticeship, Lauren gained broad experience across residential, commercial, and education projects.
Leading the technical delivery of the Harewood Junior Staffroom Extension, Lauren also contributed to innovative projects such as Passivhaus school buildings and BREEAM-accredited developments. A focus on building regulation compliance led Lauren to develop and audit processes like the Building Regulations Tracker, and to serve as a technical advisor to the Department for Education.
With a hands-on approach, Lauren excels in client engagement, community consultation, and mentoring young designers. Commitment to sustainability is evident in project work and leadership of internal sustainability groups, driving improvements in BIM workflows and environmental impact assessment.
