Green Hat has an associate company Atega Ltd. focussing on sustainability and energy management.
The name ‘Atega’ is derived from the word ‘To support’ in the ancient British language of Welsh. With this mantra, we seek to ensure our services are sustainable, innovative and cost effective within a constantly changing environment, recognising the needs of our clients and working alongside them to meet their own bespoke objectives.

Making the most of your building assets, our surveys will provide recommendations for sustainable solutions that will reduce your risks and reduce your bills. We can also provide management expertise to facilitate those solutions.
Ensuring that installations are completed, commissioned, working correctly and are safe. Ensuring compliance to safeguard our clients, our teams can inspect a range of building services and building items and ensure that the handover of information enables you to understand how it works.
Our experienced dedicated energy audit team conduct audits and ascertain energy savings opportunities to reduce energy and water use and running costs whilst ensuring comfort is not impacted.
Green Energy Management
Atega are a leading independent UK specialist in renewable energy and sustainability. Our Green Energy Management services consider the right renewable for you and whether you are on the right tariff and also paying the best price tor the fuels you use.
Our risk assessments will identify courses of action that are reasonably appropriate under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995 and supporting legislation and codes of practice.
Green Hat Consulting has entered into an exciting joint venture with Alpha Safety providing training and consultancy services to South Wales and beyond. This means that Green Hat will be able to offer its clients access to a wide range of courses to suit your company requirements.
Alpha Safety Training is an established provider of training solutions that’s based in South Wales. We offer a wide variety of programmes that cater to a range of industries, anything from one day First Aid courses to NVQ’s. We have excellent training facilities in both Swansea and Cardiff, that include dedicated construction academies. We offer accredited training courses via nineteen different awarding bodies
We pride ourselves on our warm welcome and our excellent customer service. We run regular open programmes for most of our courses, or we are happy to run dedicated courses for your business at either one of our centres or your workplace. And although based in South Wales, we regularly deliver training throughout the UK
Founded in the summer of 2009 by the Managing Director Paul Jones, in ten years Alpha has grown from a two-person enterprise to employing more than 30 people across its sites. Originally delivering basic compliance courses such as first aid, Alpha has expanded its portfolio and now offer a variety of professional development programmes that include NVQ’s and ILM Management qualifications.
Due to demand, in early 2017 Alpha opened its first dedicated Construction Academy in Swansea. Here we deliver scaffold training (we are accredited by PASMA, CISRS and NPORS) MEWPS courses (accreditation provided by IPAF and NPORS) Forklift training (via RTITB and NPORS). Later in 2017 we opened a second dedicated academy in Cardiff.
