Supporting Mental Health in the Construction Industry
At Green Hat Consulting we believe in making a difference and supporting and raising awareness of those subjects and topics that affect both individuals in the construction industry as well as supporting companies.
We are a group of experienced industry experts with a real passion for improving the construction industry through our knowledge whether it is Health & Safety, Policies and Procedures, Training, Fire Safety, Tender Management or Sustainability & Environmental services.
But our team has a focus on proactively raising awareness on those topics that are not talked about as much such as health and wellbeing.
We understand that a business is more than just its compliance, sustainability and profitability it is about their people, therefore talking about and starting conversations about this areas that have traditionally been overlooked are central to the way we work with our clients.
Our Challenge
The team at Green Hat have decided that we not only want to raise awareness of the issue of mental health in the construction industry but also challenge ourselves as a team to raise money for the great cause Mates In Mind which is important to us.
We will climbing Pen Y Fan as many times as we can on Friday 20th May. We will be doing as many ascents and descents (circuits) as we can over an 8 hour period (9am – 5pm)
Every member of our team taking part in the challenge will be contributing to our collective goal of 15 complete circuits (up and down) during this period.
This will be a challenge for us all, but we know together we will do our best to reach this target and who knows we may pull an extra one out the bag.
We would love you to support us in our challenge to help raise awareness and reach our target of 15 circuits and £5,000 fundraising goal, every £1 will mean so much to us all, so please help us reach our goal for this great cause. We promise to share some great pictures from the day.
